The Health Ministry said that a total of 55,47,30,609 coronavirus vaccine doses have been administered across India through 62,12,108 sessions.
Over 2.25 crore COVID-19 unutilized vaccine doses still with states and UTs
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has said that more than 2.25 crore (2,25,52,523) balance and unutilized COVID-19 vaccine doses are still available with the states, UTs and private hospitals to be administered.
More than 1.09 crore COVID-19 doses to be provided soon
The Health Ministry further informed that 1,09,32,960 coronavirus doses are currently in the pipeline.

The country has so far registered 3,14,48,754 COVID-19 recoveries.
India recorded 25,166 new COVID-19 cases
Meanwhile, India reported 25,166 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, which, the Union Health Ministry said is the lowest single-day rise in 154 days.
The active cases in the country have now further declined to 3,69,846, the lowest in 146 days.
