Night curfew timing revised in Noida
As COVID-19 crisis improved, the night curfew timings were revised across Uttar Pradesh, including Gautam Buddh Nagar from September 7. The night curfew is now in place from 11 pm to 6 am across the state. Earlier the timings were from 10 pm till 6 am.

Strict compliance of COVID-19 induced night curfew in Noida
Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Commissioner Alok Singh asked police personnel to ensure strict compliance of the night curfew. "All the police officers and police station in-charges in Gautam Budh Nagar have been directed by Commissioner of Police Alok Singh to ensure strict compliance of the above instructions," PTI quoted the statement as saying.

Essential services, including health emergencies, are exempted during the night curfew, which restricts unnecessary outdoor movement of people.

Restrictions under section 144 already imposed in Noida, Greater Noida
Restrictions under CrPC section 144, which bars unauthorised assembly of more than four people, are already imposed across Noida and Greater Noida in the Uttar Pradesh district adjoining Delhi, the police said, as per PTI.
