The Day 3 of Indo-French naval Exercise ''Varuna'' sea phase saw multi-helicopter operations with cross deck landings, on May 10, 2019. In addition Visit, board, search, and seizure (VBSS) operations and towing exercise between the French Navy and the Indian Navy ships took place.

Indian Navy along with navies of The US, Japan and Philippines sailed together in the South China Sea from May 3-9. The six-day long Group Sail had the participation of six combatant warships including Indian Navy destroyer INS Kolkata and tanker INS Shakti from the four participating countries. (ANI photo)
