Pune Metro District Court To Swargate Line: Stations, Time, Fare, Key Details
In a big relief for Punekars, the new Metro extension line from District Court to Swargate will be open to the public today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to lay the foundation stone, inaugurate, and dedicate several projects in Maharashtra, collectively valued at over Rs 11,200 crore.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the District Court to Swargate Metro line today, 29th September 2024, marking the completion of Phase-1 of the Pune Metro Rail Project. The inauguration will be conducted virtually at 12:30 PM.
Passenger Services on the New Line
Passenger services on the newly opened underground metro corridor from District Court to Swargate will begin at 4:00 PM on the same day, offering direct travel from PCMC to Swargate with interchange options for passengers from Vanaz and Ramwadi stations.
Metro Route and Service Timing
The metro services will operate between the District Court and Swargate from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. During peak hours (4:00 PM to 8:00 PM), trains will run every 7 minutes, while the frequency will reduce during non-peak hours (8:00 PM to 10:00 PM).
Direct Travel and Interchange Options
Passengers can enjoy direct travel from PCMC to Swargate, with interchange options available for those travelling from Vanaz and Ramwadi stations.
Fare
The fare between Kasba Peth (Budhwar Peth) to Mandai metro station is Rs.10, and from Kasba Peth to Swargate is Rs.15. Other routes like District Court to Mandai or Swargate are also priced between Rs.10 and Rs.15.
