Dev Deepawali, also known as "the Diwali of the Gods," is celebrated on Kartik Purnima, which falls after Diwali. This year, the festival took place on November 15, following Diwali on October 31.

The grand celebrations unfolded along the ghats of the River Ganga in Varanasi, where over a million diyas lit up the banks from Ravidas Ghat to Rajghat. The highlight was the magnificent fireworks display and aarti at iconic locations like Dashashwamedh Ghat.

The grand celebration featured nearly 11 lakh lamps on the 84 ghats, along with Ganga Aarti, laser shows, and green fireworks. The 25-minute 3D laser shows were run four times a day, starting at 5:30 pm. They showcased 24 high-powered projectors, creating vivid images of Kashi's religious and cultural evolution.

People participated in various activities, including chanting "Har Mahadev" during the fireworks, and many enjoyed boat rides on the river while the sky lit up with colorful displays.
