Stunning, Magnificent: Colourful Laser Show On Dev Deepawali At Ganga Ghat In Kashi Enchants Spectators; Pics Go Viral

The grand celebrations unfolded along the ghats of the River Ganga in Varanasi, where over a million diyas lit up the banks from Ravidas Ghat to Rajghat. The highlight was the magnificent fireworks display and aarti at iconic locations like Dashashwamedh Ghat.

The grand celebration featured nearly 11 lakh lamps on the 84 ghats, along with Ganga Aarti, laser shows, and green fireworks. The 25-minute 3D laser shows were run four times a day, starting at 5:30 pm. They showcased 24 high-powered projectors, creating vivid images of Kashi's religious and cultural evolution.

People participated in various activities, including chanting "Har Mahadev" during the fireworks, and many enjoyed boat rides on the river while the sky lit up with colorful displays.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his heartfelt wishes to the nation, and posted stunning pictures on his X handle. He said, " The grand form of Baba Vishwanath's city Kashi, glittering with millions of diyas on Dev Deepawali, captivates the mind. People from all over the world witness this tradition of Deepdaan. I wish that the divine light spread all around on the banks of Maa Ganga illuminates everyone's life with happiness, peace, prosperity and good health".

The Dev Deepawali celebrations in Varanasi and other parts of Uttar Pradesh were marked by a fusion of culture, tradition, and spirituality, bringing people together in a shared expression of faith and joy.
