Apoorva Yadav grew up in a small town in Uttar Pradesh and faced failure three times in the UPPCS exam. Despite these setbacks, she continued to work hard again, and eventually, in her fourth attempt, she succeeded, making her the first female SDM of Mainpuri City.
She was unsuccessful in her first three attempts, but in her fourth attempt, she achieved success. Apoorva secured the 13th rank in the Uttar Pradesh PCS 2016 exam and became the first female SDM of Mainpuri.
Apoorva completed all her education in a Hindi-medium school but she wanted to pursue engineering, which required proficiency in English. Determined to achieve her dreams, she dedicated herself fully to learning English and worked hard towards her goals.
She watched English TV programs, read novels, and spoke English without hesitation. Believing in persistent effort, she overcame this challenge, pursued engineering and secured a job at TCS.
During her three years at TCS, Apoorva had the opportunity to visit the United States and during this time she was inspired to pursue civil services. Later, she prepared for both the civil services and the Uttar Pradesh PCS exams.
