2023 Porsche 911 Dakar breaks cover as rally-spec supercar, limited to 2,500 units only: IN PICS

The Porsche 911 Dakar is limited to just 2,500 units. Also, it is making enthusiasts take a nostalgia-hitting trip to 1984 when Porsche won its first-ever Dakar win with the first-ever AWD 911.

The rear wing is identical to the 911 GT3, and it is a lightweight unit. Moreover, it is unveiled in the Rothman livery, which is also available for buyers in the Rallye Design package.

The suspension on the Porsche 911 Dakar is heavily altered to give it that 50 mm extra ground clearance as opposed to the regular Carrera. In case you need more of it, the suspension can be further raised, and it can be driven in the same manner up to speeds of 170 kmph.

The interior is very-much a 911 affair, and it features bucket seats for two, while the rear seats are removed to make space for a roll cage, which makes the 911 Dakar a rally-ready supercar.

The offroad bits like protection plates, two eyes and more come as standard fitment on the Porsche 911 Dakar. However, the roof rack is an optional extra. It does get integrated auxiliary lamps, and it can be used to carry luggage, fuel can, and even water canisters.

The 911 Dakar rides on AT tyres, and gets the GT3's motor with 480 PS and 570 Nm at its disposal. Hence, the 0-100 kmph takes 3.4 seconds, while the top whack is restricted at 240 kmph.
