PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of the International Cricket Stadium in Varanasi on 23 September. This international stadium will be built on a theme related to Lord Shiva.

The design of the media centre to be built in front of the stadium will be like Lord Shiva's Damru.
Trident Shaped Floodlights
The floodlights illuminating the field will be in the shape of a trident. The people of Banaras are going to get the gift of projects worth more than Rs 1000 crore during the upcoming visit of PM Modi. The most special of which will be the international cricket stadium to be built at a cost of more than Rs 325 crore.
Crescent Moon-Shaped Roof
In the pictures of the design of the stadium that has surfaced, its entrance is in the shape of a bel-patra, while the roof of the stadium is seen to be made in the shape of a crescent moon.
The stadium will have a seating capacity of 30 thousand people. A target of 2 years has been set to complete the construction of this stadium. The cultural reflection of Kashi is visible in this stadium.
