Pakistan will take on Mashrafe Mortaza's Bangladesh with an improbable task on their hands of reaching the semi-finals of the 2019 International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup at the Lord's on Friday. The Safaraz Ahmed-led side need to thrash Bangladesh by a huge margin of 300 runs if they get a chance to bat first. A total of 300 needs to result in Bangladesh being bowled out for 0. However, they have a zero chance of qualifying for the semi-finals in case they get to bat second.

Mohammad Saifuddin gave the breakthrough to Bangladesh by removing opener Fakhar Zaman for 13. Zaman smashed the second delivery of the eighth over straight to Mehidy Hasan at point.

A large number of Bangladeshi fans have gathered to support the national side during their debut at the Lord's Cricket Stadium. 

Imam-ul-Haq smashed his maiden ODI ton while Babar Azam well-supported him with a 96-run knock as Pakistan posted a respectable total of 315 for nine against Bangladesh. 

Pakistan have reduced Bangladesh to 86 for three after 20 overs in the Mashrafe Mortaza-led side's chase of 316 runs. 

Shaheen Afridi bagged a five-wicket haul as Pakistan end their campaign at the 2019 ICC World Cup with a 94-run win over Bangladesh at Lord's.
