Sreesanth vs Andre Nel incident
During the India tour of South Africa in 2005, Sreesanth continued to have an altercation with South African captain Graeme Smith and his pacer Andre Nel. During one of the Test matches, Nel bowled a bouncer at Sreesanth and gave a good, long stare. Indian pacer was not going to take it lightly. Next ball, Sreesanth smashed him down the ground for a maximum and then started dancing to tease the pacer. Nel smiled and went back to his run-up. (Source: Twitter)
Sreesanth at Big Boss
Sreesanth also participated in one India's most-watched reality shows Bigg Boss in 2018. Here, he was seen picking fights with his co-contestants including actor Karanvir Bora. Sreesanth's IPL Spot fixing
The IPL spot-fixing of 2013 ended Sreesanth's career. Post his involvement in the scandal, BCCI had banned him for life. Later his ban was cut short. Beamer to Kevin Pietersen
During India's 2007 tour of England, Sreesanth, agitated by Kevin Pietersen, bowled a beamer at the batter. The England cricketer was frightened by that delivery. Sreesanth apologised but many experts, including former cricketer and expert Michael Atherton, believed he should have been banned for one match for bowling that lethal delivery. Slapgate scandal
In the 2008 season of IPL, after a match between Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians, Harbhajan Singh had allegedly slapped Sreesanth. The pacer who played for Punjab then had started crying on the pitch. Harbhajan had denied slapping him and the cameras too had not recorded anything.
