Anil Kumble: During the 2002 India vs. West Indies Test match in Antigua, Kumble suffered a broken jaw after being hit by a hard bouncer from Mervyn Dillon. Despite the injury, he took the field and bowled 14 overs, eventually dismissing Brian Lara.

Malcolm Marshall: In the 1984 Headingley Test against England, Marshall shattered his thumb while batting. Undeterred, he continued to bat with one hand, helping his teammate Larry Gomes reach his century. Later, he amazed everyone by opening the bowling and taking 7 wickets despite breaking his thumb twice.

Graeme Smith: In the 2009 Sydney Test against Australia, Smith injured his hand when he was hit by a thundering ball from Mitchell Johnson.
