IPL 2022: Anchor Mayanti Langer is a BEAUT, know all about her - In Pics

Mayanti's maiden IPL stint came in 2018 when Star Network acquired the broadcasting rights for the cash-rich league.

Mayanti is married to former India & Rajasthan Royals cricketer Stuart Binny, who is the son of former Indian cricketer Roger Binny. Mayanti and Stuart were blessed with a baby boy in August 2020. 

Mayanti hosted the 2011 World Cup and the 2015 edition of the tournament as well. She went on to host several bilateral series and T20 World Cups.

The 37-year-old started her hosting career with a show called Football Cafe on Zee Sports. She then went on to host the 2010 FIFA World Cup, and 2010 Commonwealth Games and finally ventured into the cricket field.

Mayanti is the daughter of Lt. General Sanjiv Langer, who worked in UN and Mrs. Preminda Langer, an award-winning teacher. She is the granddaughter of Lt.General Rajinder Nath Batra and Mrs. Priyo Batra.

Mayanti grew her interest in football when she was in the USA. She was in her college football team in the beginning and then became a guest anchor for a broadcast of FIFA beach football.

She is a BA(Hons) graduate from Hindu College, University of Delhi.
