IPL 2024 Auction: Top 5 Players MS Dhoni's CSK Will Look to Buy With Remaining Purse Of Rs 31.4 Crore

New Zealand's all-rounder Rachin Ravindra will be chased for long by many franchises at the IPL 2024 auction. He had an outstanding World Cup, especially with the bat and MS Dhoni might have seen the next Ravindra Jadeja in him. Ravindra could be one of the overseas players who CSK should target at the IPL 2024 auction.

Another New Zealand all-rounder who can do well at CSK. Kiwis have historically done well at Chennai Super Kings. Dhoni loves working with New Zealanders with Stephan Fleming being the head coach of the side. Mitchell very much a CSK-style cricketer, who can play the role of power-anchor in the middle overs.

Manish Pandey has not had a great time in IPL in past few editions. He travelled from Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) to Delhi Capitals (DC) but failed over there too to perform. Having said that, Dhoni may want to invest in him as Manish can provide the stability. If he is given a clear role, Manish can still expand his IPL career and it can only happen at Dhoni's team. 

Punjab Kings released Shahrukh Khan. Honestly, he did not play many knocks worthy of making a mention of. Shahrukh can return to his home side in IPL and CSK will know that he knows how to bat at his homeground. Dhoni's CSK definitely need a finisher and Shahrukh could turn out to eb the one.

Karun Nair has been one of the unluckiest cricketer with tons of talent who has neither got a long run with the national team or in IPL. Knowing not many players may go after him, CSK may want to buy him at a good price.
