MS Dhoni allegedly dated Deepika Padukone and THESE actresses before marrying Sakshi – In Pics

Dhoni was dating model and ‘Julie 2’ actress Raai Laxmi around 2008-09. The couple was regularly seen together in parties, especially Indian Premier League (IPL) after-parties back then.

The duo dated for a brief period of time in 2009. However, things didn’t work and they parted ways.

“I've begun to believe that my relationship with Dhoni is like a stain or a scar which won't go away for a long time,” said Laxmi in an interview in 2014.

If you have seen Dhoni’s biopic ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ then you will be definitely aware about the former India skipper’s first love Priyanka Jha, who died in an accident leaving him heartbroken. Actress Disha Patani played the character of Priyanka in the film, while late actor Sushant Singh Rajput played Dhoni.

Dhoni was also linked with Mumbai-based TV producer Preeti Simoes, who is the creative director of Comedy Nights with Kapil.

As per reports, Dhoni fell head over heels for famous Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone in 2007. Both Dhoni and Deepika had garnered massive popularity in the same year - Deepika for her film ‘Om Shanti Om, and Dhoni for leading India to victory in the inaugural T20 World Cup.

The duo even did a ramp walk during a show which eventually raised many eyebrows.

As per a report in Hindustan Times, ‘Ghajni’ actress Asin and Dhoni were allegedly dating once upon a time. Asin and Dhoni had done a commercial ad together, and become fast friends. There were rumours of a link-up between the two.
