Many big names of world cricket ended their international careers in 2024. While some decided to retire from a specific format, many ended their cricketing career in all formats. 

Australian opener David Warner and South African opener Dean Elgar retired in the first week of January while Indian stars Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma decided to put curtains down on their T20I career after winning the T20 World Cup 2024 in June.
