Chandigarh: Two Pakistani boats were seized by the Border Security Force (BSF) officials at Ferozabad sector in Punjab on on Monday.

According to media reports, the boats were seized by patrolling party of BSF on the intervening nights on Sunday and Monday. 


The BSF personnel on patrol duty in river Sutlej intercepted two boats inside the Indian water territory at Dona Tel Mal, a border out post under Ferozepur sector, at about 2:00 on Monday.


When challenged, the boatmen jumped into the water and swam towards Pakistan.


Later, the BSF sleuths seized both the boats inside the Indian territory and recovered at least 45 kg fish from it.
