According to reports, Naresh Meghwal, the husband of BJP lawmaker Chandra Kanta Meghwal barged into a police station with his supporters and entered into an ugly brawl with police officers for allegedly imposing hefty fine on a BJP worker.

Naresh Meghwa and his supporters were recorded on camera shouting and thrashing four policemen, who were later transferred after the incident.

The footage shows Meghwal slapping a police officer, which prompted other policemen to use batons on his supporters. As the situation slipped out of control, Meghwal's supporters retaliated by throwing stones at the policemen.

The cops, in questioned, complained that that they were manhandled and thrashed by BJP MLA's husband and his supporters.

A case has been registered against Meghwal and over half a dozen BJP workers.
