SHIMLA: The high-altitude areas of Himachal Pradesh today experienced another round of snowfall, with the minimum temperature in Keylong rising marginally to minus 1.9 degree Celsius.
Isolated areas in the high hills also received rains.

Kinnaur and Lahaul and Spiti received mild snowfall and Kalpa received 1cm of snowfall and 5mm of rainfall, the Met office said.


Kufri and Pooh received 3mm of rainfall, followed by Shimla, Kothi, Sarahan and Kumarsein 2mm each, it said.


Weather remained largely dry in most parts of the state, but strong icy winds lashed mid and higher hills, it added.


The minimum temperatures in Kalpa was 2.0C, Manali 5.2C, Una 5.5C, Dharamsala and Bhuntar 6.4C each, Sundernagar 6.6C, Shimla and Solan 7.2C each, Palampur 7.5C and Nahan 11.3C.


No significant change was recorded in day temperature.


Una was hottest in the state with a maximum temperature of 26.4C, while Sundernagar, Bhuntar, Solan and Nahan recorded a high of 23.0C, 22.0C, 21.0C and 20.3C respectively.


The MeT office has predicted dry weather until December 10. More rains and snowfall were expected from December 11 as an active western disturbance was likely to affect the western Himalayan region.
