New Delhi: Even as athletes from across the world are getting ready for the action at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, which kicks off on August 5, it seems the players from the United States have more reasons to cheer about from up above.

Watch the video below that shows NASA astronaut and Expedition 48 commander Jeff Williams, along with his NASA crewmate Kate Rubins wishing Team USA a very 'good luck' at Rio Olympics.



The astronauts are currently aboard the International Space Station (ISS) carrying out numerous science experiments on how living in space affects the human body and other organisms.


 


Both Rubins and Williams will conduct a spacewalk this month to install the first International Docking Adapter, the new docking port that will enable the future arrival of US commercial crew spacecraft.
