According to a new research, the rocky exoplanet , located 4.2 light years from the Earth, may support habitable zone.

The study, published in The Astrophysical Journal Letters, suggest that this Earth-like planet outside our solar system likely to have at least one liquid ocean. A team of scientists, including astronomers at French National Center for Scientific Research, calculated the size and surface properties of the planet.

They found evidence suggesting that an ocean could be covering the planet's entire surface similar to some of the icy moons of Saturn and Jupiter, according to Tech Times.
