Lord Ganesha – also known as Vighna Harta (remover of obstacles) or Vinayaka is a revered Hindu God. Hindus offer their prayers to the Lord before any new beginning. वक्रतुण्ड महाकाय सूर्य कोटी समप्रभा
निर्विघ्नं कुरु मे देव सर्व-कार्येशु सर्वदा॥


Vakratunda Mahakaya Suryakoti Samaprabha
Nirvighnam Kuru Me Deva Sarva-Kaaryeshu Sarvada


Meaning of this Ganesh Mantra: O Lord, with a curved trunk and a huge body, you emit the radiance of crores of Suns. Remove all obstacles and bless me so that I succeed in every task that I undertake now and in future.


Here’s a Mantra dedicated to Lord Ganesha which can be chanted for good fortune:


ॐ श्रीम गम सौभाग्य गणपतये
वर्वर्द सर्वजन्म में वषमान्य नमः॥


Om Shreem Gam Saubhagya Ganpataye
Varvarda Sarvajanma Mein Vashamanya Namah॥


Meaning of the Ganesha Shubh Labh Mantra - I pray to you O Lord Ganesha for a prosperous life. I seek your blessings for my present and future lives. You protect your devotees with long life and good fortune, O Ganesha, bless me.


And last but not the least chant this simple mantra:


ॐ गम गणपतये नम:
Om Gam Ganpataye Namah
