New Delhi: The online ticket sales for the inaugural International Premier Tennis League (IPTL) Delhi leg to be held Dec 6-8, will begin post-Diwali weekend.

The tickets will be sold in phases, with close to 6,000 tickets available across price categories ranging from Rs.3,240 to Rs. 49,680, an IPTL release said.


The tickets will be available for sale through online ticketing partner www.bookmyshow.com.


“Sports fans in India are in for a treat,” tennis ace Mahesh Bhupathi said on behalf of the IPTL.


Iconic player Roger Federer, 14-time grand slam champion Pete Sampras, Gael Monfils, Ana Ivanovic, Fabrice Santoro and Indian players Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna will make up the formidable Indian squad that will take on the Manila Mavericks, the UAE Royals and the Singapore Slammers during the three-day extravaganza at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium here.


Other top stars that will play here include World No.1 Novak Djokovic, Caroline Wozniacki, Eugenie Bouchard, Goran Ivanisevic, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Daniela Hantuchova, Tomas Berdych, Lleyton Hewitt, Carlos Moya, Patrick Rafter, Kirsten Flipkens and Nenad Zimonjic.
