New Delhi: Noted criminal lawyer Ram Jethmalani, who shared the dais with yoga guru Baba Ramdev at the Ambedkar Stadium here, launched an attack on the ruling Congress Party, saying UPA-II will be thrown out of power in 2013, not 2014.
Jethmalani said that the yoga guru was his partner in bringing back black money. "Ramdev is my partner in demand to bring back black money. If black money is brought back, no Indian will ever have to pay tax. UPA-II will be thrown out of power in 2013, not 2014," he said.
Jethmalani alleged that Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi of being one of those having black money stashed abroad. "Sue me if you want! Half of the Congress Ministers are corrupt," he said.
Jethmalani also lauded the yoga guru`s cause, saying that while he himself worked in a court of law, Baba Ramdev worked in the "court of the people".
He also said that it was for Ramdev, and not the government, to decide when the Ambedkar stadium should be vacated.
