"With no disrespect to anyone, Anil Kumble will forever remain India's greatest ever match-winner in Test cricket. And he will bring that hunger to win in this team also," Bhajji said.

Bhajji was one of the first few cricketers, who reacted to the news of Kumble throwing his hat into the ring for the vacant position of Indian coach.

Together, Harbhajan and Kumble made life miserable with incredible spells in all forms of cricket, during their illustrious careers.

Notably, on Wednesday, the BCCI appointed Kumble as the new coach of the Indian team for the next one year.

Kumble was selected from a list of 57 applicants who had applied for the top job, ahead of Ravi Shastri, Tom Moody, etc.
