On the first day of the third Test against West Indies at Sydney, Lyon made opener Kraigg Brathwaite his 100th victim, late in the final session, to reach the landmark.

Interestingly, the other bowlers who have achieved the same feat in the past are all leg spinners from Australia -- Shane Warne, Stuart MacGill, Richard Benaud, Clarence Victor Grimmett.

Lyon , 28, made his Test debut against Sri Lanka at Galle on August 31, 2011.

Lyon has picked up two wickets thus far in the match. His second victim was Jermaine Blackwood, who was clean bowled by the crafty spinner.
