In the 17th over of Pakistan innings, Mohammad Hafeez tried to launched Arafat Sunny over mid-wicket but Sarkar, patrolling on the boundary, jumped on to his left to take a catch, but the momentum took him over the boundary. However, he popped the ball into the air, moved back inside the boundary line then completed the catch on second try.

It was an exceptional effort by Sarkar at the boundary rope.
