Batting first, Pakistan posted a total of 157 runs on board, courtesy, a fantastic 70-run knock by Mohammad Hafeez. The Professor, who has been stuggling with the bat lately, used all his experience to help his side put a challenging total and carried the bat till the end.

In reply, after losing key wicket off Tillakaratne Dilshan off the seventh ball of the innings, Lankans were never in control of the game and were dismantled by Imad Wasim's four-wicket haul.

Opener Dinesh Chandimal (30) and Lahiru Thirimanne (45) did show some resistance, but it wasn't good enough against hungry Pakistani bowlers, who picked wickets at regular intervals.

This win should give Pakistan some confidence ahead of the main event starting from March 15.

Shahid Afridi and his boys will play their first match of the mega event against Bangladesh at the iconic Eden Gardens on March 16.
