After serving the country for 14-long years, Watson decided to hang his boots to spend some time with family and friends.

In the last game against India on Sunday, he played an unbeaten knock of 18 and picked up two wickets in his four overs.

However, the Australian team didn't give the all-rounder a perfect farewell as they lost the virtual quarter-final against India by six wickets.

The cricket fraternity congratulated the 34-year-old for his successful career.
