Given LBW out by umpire Dharmasena, Cheteshwar pujara gets lifeline by using DRS - WATCH
Cheteshwar Pujara was given LBW out while batting on 86 by on-field umpire Kumar Dharmasena.
New Delhi: In the ongoing Test between India and England at Rajkot, the hosts lost Gautam Gambhir early on Day 3 but Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara revived their innings a century each to their name.
Pujara, who was playing in front of his home crowd, was dreaming of making the moment count and produce one of his best knocks.
While the local boy was batting on 86, a ball from Zafar Ansar struck him on the pads and he was given out by umpire Kumar Dharamasena.
An unconvinced Pujara decided to sought help from DRS and this is what happened next:-
The ball was seen going over the stumps by DRS and the on-field umpire's call was revoked.
Pujara didn't let the opportunity go waste and went on to secure a proud ton in front of his home crowd.
