The third and final Test is scheduled to be hosted at the Holkar stadium here from October 8 and the hosts MPCA has decided to go ahead with their preparations.

"The match is on. We have made all the arrangements for it. The national cricket board has not given any direction for the cancellation of the match," Kanmadikar told IANS.

Earlier, the BCCI had threatened to call off the ongoing New Zealand series after claiming that their bank accounts were frozen by the Supreme Court-appointed R.M. Lodha panel.

Amidst the on-going tussel between Lodha Panel and the Indian cricket board, BCCI chief Anurag Thakur earlier released a statement, "I can't talk about whether series will go on or not but if players and associations are not paid, it raises serious at a time when the team is number one in Tests, No 2 in T20s, No 3 in ODIs. It's the most powerful Board. We have created a successful tournament like IPL. We can't run the game without money,"

Thakur further fumed, "BCCI does not take any money from outside whether it's central or state government. Banks were told not to release payments. It is unfortunate that such a situation has arisen. Has BCCI not done anything at all these years, these questions need to be answered,"

In the latest developments, it has been reported that banks have/ or will be defreezing the BCCI accounts to enable them in proceeding with the scheduled events.

Indian Cricket fans feared that they might not see the India-New Zealand cricket series concluding in a spectacular fashion for the local team, who currently sit top of ICC Test rankings. But it seems that despite the Lodha-BCCI war, the Indore Test isn't going to be affected as the state board has already made all the arrangement for the match.
