According to a Times of India report, the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP have come up with the unique proposal.

“The Delhi administration wants to felicitate the World Cup-winning teams. But I do not know what will be the modalities,“ Justice Mukul Mudgal, who is overseeing DDCA 's preparations for the Test, said on Monday.

Meanwhile, the only apprehension DDCA has is how the event would be organised with not much time remaining.

“It's their baby . We don't have any problem with it but they will have to do everything, starting from inviting all the cricketers. They will have to buy tickets and then send the einvitation maybe,“ a top DDCA official told TOI on Monday.

The report also added that batting legend Sachin Tendulkar is likely to watch the fourth Test since DDCA has received a request to reserve tickets on his behalf.

Local batsman Virender Sehwag is also likely to be felicitated during the final Test.

Virat Kohli-led India have an unassailable 2-0 lead going into the final Test against Hashim Amla-led South Africa.
