The dashing cricketer has now become the only batsman in the shortest format of the game to score 75 runs or more in four consecutive innings.

Kohli has scored 82*, 89*, 75, 79 in his last four T20 innings.

On Sunday, while leading IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore, Kohli hit 79 against Delhi Daredevils to make the sensational record in slam-bang cricket.

The Delhi-born cricketer has carried on his World Twenty20 form in the ninth edition of the IPL.

After winning Man-of-the-series for amassing 273 runs in five innings of the WT20, Kohli has started off the IPL season with a bang.

In the first two matches of the IPL, Kohli has scored 75 and 79 to show his never dying hunger to score runs in every match.

However, his 79-run knock against DD went in vain last night as his team lost the game by seven wickets, with five balls to spare.
