New Delhi: Australian batsman George Bailey witnessed a scary moment during Match 49 of Indian Premier League between Rising Pune Supergiants and Delhi Daredevils after he was hit on the helmet by compatriot Nathan Coulter Nile.

The incident happened in the seventh over of the innings when Coulter Nile bowled a short ball to Bailey, who was taken by surprise. The ball got some edge from the bat and went on to hit Bailey's helmet which was detached and fell behind the wicket.


Daredevils fielders, along with the bowler, rushed to Bailey to check if he was fine.
