Hafeez was handed a 12-month suspension last year by the International Cricket Council (ICC) after two independent assessments found his action illegal, within a two-year period.

"Final decision on Mohammad Hafeez's test on his bowling action in the ICC-accredited facility at Loughborough shall be taken in the next few days," Pakistan team manager Intikhab Alam said in a statement on Saturday.

The bowling ban imposed on the 35-year-old expired earlier this month.

"Since his recovery from the injury in the right knee that he sustained during the ICC World T20, Hafeez has recommenced remedial work on his bowling action," added Alam.
