According to a report in Wisden Cricket, Tsotsobe alongside the 35-year-old former South Africa wicketkeeper Thami Tsolekile, had accepted money from Gulam Bodi, who was banned for 20 years last month for match-fixing.

Tsotsobe said that he has given Cricket South Africa everything they want and has denied his role in the alleged match fixing claims.

"There's a lot of speculation going around. I'm not going to entertain anything but Cricket South Africa can do anything they need to do to check if we did any match-fixing with the people that they are investigating. So we'll wait for them and see. I've given them everything they want. My phone bills, my messages, my bank accounts, everything. They said they would get back to me,” said Tsotsobe toWisden India.

He also went on to add that his coach has given him time off and he feels he doesn't have to explain himself to anybody else.

"I just feel that there's a lot that's going on in my life. I've spoken to the coach and he's the one who gave me the time off. I don't have to explain myself to any other person. If the CEO and the coach know, then I think I'm cool,” said the fast bowler.

According to further reports, a Dubai-based Indian fixer was in South Africa for the whole duration of the Ram Slam and met the players, but Tsotsobe clearly stated that CSA is the body to ask such questions.

"That we can discuss with Cricket South Africa (CSA). If you want to know anything more about what's going on you can ask them," he said.

Tsotsobe didn't play for the Highvield Lions in the Ram Slam, but came under suspicion when he left Johannesburg suddenly to spent the rest of the time in Eastern Cape and didn't return since then.

Thami Tsolekile too plays for the Lions.
