Botham said that South Africa have not been able to fill the void left by their greats like Jacques Kallis, Graeme Smith, Mark Boucher, Shaun Pollock and Allan Donald, Sport24 reported.

Describing England as an emerging side, the 60-year-old, who is currently in Cape Town ahead of his latest charity walk, insisted that his side have a realistic chance of winning the series against South Africa this time.

Meanwhile, South Africa, who recently lost a Test series against India 0-3, will try to bounce back when they take on England in the four-match Test series, starting from December 26 in Durban.
