New Delhi: Comparisons are bound to happen between legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar and Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli as the latter is going through a purple patch with the willow.

However, spin wizard Muttiah Muralitharan feels that it's still too early to compare Kohli with the Master Blaster.

"Sachin has been a legend of the game. It's too early to compare these two. Let Virat play for 15 years and see where he finishes. Then only you can compare," said Murali.

Still, Muralitharan heaped praise on the mainstay of Indian batting line up by saying, “He (Kohli) is just amazing”

The former tweaker feels that even he would have to think hard before bowling to this in-form Kohli. "What's important about Virat is that he plays all cricketing shots for his runs," added Murali.

Murali, who was part of the coaching staff of IPL 9 winners SunRisers Hyderabad, believes that luck also favoured SRH during their stint this season.

"We clicked well as a unit. David Warner was fantastic as a captain as well as batsman. Luck has also favoured us in certain occasions," he remarked.
