It was Ganguly, who not only relentlessly backed his players, but also led from the front by holding the bull by its horns.


In one of the ODIs against Pakistan, the elegant left-hander had a heated conversation with Pakistani batsman Yousuf Youhana.


While Youhana was getting medical treatment on his injured elbow, Ganguly told him to ask the umpire not to fine him for the delay. The right-hander kept insisting that he wasn't causing delay on purpose.
