New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday put all speculations to rest as it finally announced the name of new chief coach of Team India.

Board president Anurag Thakur named former India skipper Anil Kumble as the head coach for the next one year.


After the much-awaited announcement, cricket fraternity took to Twitter to share their views on the new development. 








Former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar also welcomed the appointment of Jumbo by saying: "You don't need a coaching degree, all you have to be is a good man manager. Kumble brings into table a lot of determination, experience and intelligence as India coach," Gavaskar told NDTV.


Few minutes back, Kumble himself took to Twitter to thank everyone.
