The left-hander was recalled to India's T20 squad for the upcoming Australian tour after turning in solid performances for Punjab in domestic cricket.

Speaking to The Telegraph, Shastri went as far as to say that there was nobody more dangerous than Yuvi once he was set.

“Of course, Yuvraj is a match-winner and a destroyer of bowling. If Yuvraj gets set, there's nobody more dangerous than him,” said Shastri.

"Yuvraj has had a couple of seasons of domestic cricket since he last played for India (20 months ago) and, of late, has run into form," he further added.

The 34-year-old last played for India in the 2014 World T20, where he was widely criticized for his poor batting display against Sri Lanka in the final.

The Men in Blue are scheduled to play three T20Is against the Aussies early next year.
