# India have won four and lost two matches out of six contested vs Zimbabwe in T20Is - winning % 66.66.


# Zimbabwe's ten wicket defeat to India is their third by such a margin in Twenty20 Internationals - the first being to New Zealand at Harare on October 15, 2011 and the second to South Africa at Hambantota on September 20, 2012.


# India's magnificent win by ten wickets is their largest in terms of wickets in T20Is, obliterating the two victories by nine-wicket margins - one each vs Sri Lanka at Visakhapatnam on February 14, 2016 and vs UAE at Dhaka on March 3, 2016. All three have been recorded by India this year.


# Overall, thirteen ten-wicket victories have been registered in T20Is. The only team to suffer three such defeats is Zimbabwe.


# India's win with 41 balls to spare is their second largest in terms of balls remaining in T20Is behind the 59 balls remaining during their nine-wicket victory over UAE at Dhaka on March 3, 2016.


# Zimbabwe's total of 99 for nine is their third lowest score in T20Is - the two lowest are 84 vs New Zealand at Providence on May 4, 2010 and 93 for eight vs South Africa at Hambantota on September 20, 2012.


# Mandeep Singh (52 not out off 40 balls) has posted his maiden fifty in Twenty20 Internationals, surpassing the 31 off 27 balls vs Zimbabwe at Harare on June 18, 2016.


# Lokesh Rahul (47 not out) has posted his highest score in T20Is. In his previous match on ODI debut, he had registered a golden duck.


# Five Indian players have received the Man of the Match awards on debut in T20Is - Dinesh Karthik, Subramaniam Badrinath, Pragyan Ojha, Axar Patel and Barinder Sran.


# Barinder Sran (4/10) has produced the second best bowling figures on debut in T20Is next only to the 5 for 13 by Elias Sunny for Bangladesh vs Ireland at Belfast on July 18, 2012.


# Sran has become the second Indian bowler to claim four wickets on T20I debut. Pragyan Ojha had taken four for 21 vs Bangladesh at Nottingham on June 6, 2009.


# The only Indian to produce better bowling performance than Sran in T20Is is Ravichandran Ashwin (4/8) vs Sri Lanka at Visakhapatnam on February 14, 2016.


# Sran, by dismissing Hamilton Masakadza, Sikandar Raza and Tinotenda Mutombodzi, has become the second Indian bowler after Ashok Dinda (Chandimal, Eranga and Malinga) vs Sri Lanka at Pallekele on August 7, 2012, to take three wickets in an over in T20Is.


# Two debutants have opened Indian bowling in a T20I for the second time. Jaydev Unadkat and Rishi Dhawan on June 18, 2016 and Barinder Sran and Dhawal Kulkarni on June 20, 2016 - both vs Zimbabwe at Harare. This excludes the inaugural Twenty20 International match played by India.


# Jasprit Bumrah has captured five wickets at 7.00 runs apiece in two matches - the most by a bowler on either side in a bilateral series in T20Is involving India and Zimbabwe.


# Bumrah's tally of 24 wickets (ave.17.95) in 18 matches is an Indian record by a bowler in a calendar year in Twenty20 Internationals.


# Bumrah has captured 53 wickets (ave.19.86) in 41 matches this year - the most by an Indian bowler in a calendar year in Twenty20.


# Sran (4/10) and Bumrah (3/11) are the two best bowling performances in T20Is involving India and Zimbabwe.


# Sran took all four wickets in the powerplays to become the second Indian bowler after Ravichandran Ashwin to accomplish the feat in T20Is - vs Sri Lanka at Visakhapatnam on February 14, 2016.


# Sran became the first Indian bowler to bag three or more wickets on debut in both the formats - ODIs and T20Is. On his ODI debut vs Australia at Perth on January 12, 2016, he had taken three for 56.


# The unbroken partnership of 103 for the first wicket between Rahul and Mandeep is the highest partnership for any wicket as well as the first century stand for India vs Zimbabwe in T20Is.


# The above stand is India's second century stand for the first wicket in T20Is next only to the 136 between Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir vs England at Durban on September 19, 2007.


# For the third time, Indian fast bowlers have taken 8 or more wickets in a T20I - 9 vs Pakistan at Johannesburg on Sept.24, 2007; 8 vs Sri Lanka at Pallekele on August 7, 2012 and 8 vs Zimbabwe at Harare on June 20, 2016.
