Both sides despite getting several chances failed to make the most of the opportunity, thus denying the fans much to cheer about on a clash between two Maharastrian sides.

"I am not happy with the team's performance. We should have won the match. It is part of the game. Now we have to put up a better show against FC Goa in our next match," Anelka said at the post match press conference here.

Post the result on Friday, Mumbai are in the sixth spot in the points table with 12 points from nine games, having won three, draw three and lost three.

"I think we controlled the game very well. We were unlucky that we a few of the decision did not go our way. I think when we are playing home match referee should think of the home side and give decision if we deserve," he said.

In the 34th minute, Brandon Fernande who made his first start of the season for Mumbai pulled his hamstring to finally leave the field. He was replaced by Sampath Kuttymani.

Speaking about the youngsters, the French football great termed it was an unfortunate incident.

"Unfortunate Brandon pulled his hamstring. He is a good player. Don't know about his injury in details. I hope he gets well soon. He was very effective in the pre-season and I want him in the team," Anelka said.
