The confirmation has come a day after FIFA reported that their banned president Sepp Blatter would continue to be paid until a new president is elected on February 26 this year.

As per the report in Sport24, UEFA also added that CONCACAF's former president Jeffrey Webb's contract had been terminated and that he had not been receiving any money from the organization.

However, the European football governing body declined to reveal Platini's salary, by saying that individual salaries were of a confidential nature and therefore couldn't be disclosed, the report added.

Along with the ban, Blatter and Platini were also fined 50,000 and 80,000 Swiss francs respectively.
