New Delhi: Leicester City's goal sensation Jamie vardy swept the Premier league player of the month award for October. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger got the manager of the month award for his side's excellent run where he notched up four wins.

Vardy scored five goals in four matches for the Foxes to see his side stay in top four in the Premier League. The England international has been in impressive form and is the highest scorer in the EPL after showing consistency for Leicester.


Vardy has continued his excellent form in November as well and has scored in nine consecutive games.


Meanwhile, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has bagged the award for the manager of the month after stitching in four consecutive victories in October. Those include wins against Manchester United, Watford, Everton and Swansea City.


This was Wenger's 15th manager of the month awards.



Arsenal lie second in the EPL standings tied with Manchester City on points. The London club recently drew 1-1 against Tottenham Hotspur in gameweek 12.
