Imphal: At least two unidentified insurgents were killed in an encounter with para-military forces on Thursday in Manipur`s interior Ukhrul district, official sources said.

Sources said Assam Rifles personnel of 17th battalion, while patrolling at Chasad area this morning, were attacked by the insurgents. In the resultant encounter, two insurgents were killed, the sources said. PTI
