Thiruvananthapuram: North-east monsoon has been vigorous over Kerala. Rain occurred at most places in Lakshadweep.
According to meteorology sources here, heavy to very heavy rainfall reports in cm are Varkala 18, Kavaratty 11, Neyyattinkara 9 and Agathy, Thiruvananthapuram city and airport, Kollam 7 each.
The other chief amounts of rainfall reports in cm are Nedumangadu 6 and Aminidweep 4. Another 21 stations reported rainfal of 1-3 cm.
Alappuzha and Punalur, Thiruvananthapuram city and airport recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 22 degree celsius.
Forecast valid until the morning of November 29, rain or thunder showers will occur at most places in Lakshadweep and many places in Kerala. Heavy rainfall warning: Heavy to very heavy rainfall will occur at a few places in Lakshadweep and and very heavy rainfall will occur at isolated places in Kerala during next 48 hours.
Fishermen warning: Squally weather with wind speed occasionally reaching 55-60 gusting upto 65 KMPH is likely along off Kerala coast and over Lakshadweep area during next 24 hours, outlook for subsequent two days no significant change.
