Tahsildar in ACB net for taking Rs 10,000 bribe
Sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) have arrested a Tahsildar in Warangal district of Andhra Pradesh for allegedly taking Rs 10,000 bribe.
Hyderabad: Sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) have arrested a Tahsildar in Warangal district of Andhra Pradesh for allegedly taking Rs 10,000 bribe.
Akula Sammaiah, Tahsildar, Kummarakuntla village of Warangal district was caught red-handed at his office late last night when he demanded and accepted an the sum from the complainant for doing an official favour, an ACB release said here on Friday.
The bribe amount was recovered from Tehsildar and he was arrested. The case is under investigation.
