Jamshedpur (Jharkhand): BJP Jharkhand unit president Dineshanand Goswami on Monday ruled out any new political equation emerging out in the state following the outcome of recent Rajya Sabha polls.
"There is no such possibility. I am confident that the coalition partners - JMM and AJSU Party - in Arjun Munda-led Jharkhand government would not take any impractical decision that would destabilise the state government," Goswami said here today in a press conference.
"The allies will join hands with Congress, who has tarnished the image of Jharkhand by indulging in horse-trading during Rajya Sabha polls," Goswami said when reacting to the JPCC president`s claims that the coaliton will desert BJP.
JPCC president Pradip Kumar Balmuchu was elected to the upper house on May 3 poll.
Balmuchu had recently said that a new political equation may emerge in the state following the outcome of the RS poll.
Criticising Congress as well as Babulal Marandi-led Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) (JVM-P) for encouraging corruption, he said, "Congress should make public what deal it had struck with the jailed MLAs for their support in the RS poll." The two political parties (Congress and JVM) were accusing each other for indulging in horse-trading but they both have been equally responsible for tarnishing the image of the state, he said. PTI
