Gujarat govt issues chargesheets to 2 bureaucrats

Kutch district, official sources said on Monday.
The General Administration Department (GAD) has served charge sheets to Rajeev Topno, who is on deputation in the Prime Minister`s Office (PMO) as a Director, and HN Chibber, who retired on November 30. Chibber, who last served as Additional Commissioner (Rural Development Department), was delivered the charge sheet just a day ahead of his retirement.
"We have served charge sheets to two Gujarat cadre IAS officers, of which one retired last month," a top GAD official said on condition of anonymity. The case related to alleged irregularities in grant of financial assistance by the then district committee, in which the duo were members, they added.
