BJP nominee booked for violating code of conduct
An FIR has been lodged against a BJP nominee and 14 others for allegedly violating the model code of conduct here, police said today.
Ballia: An FIR has been lodged against a BJP
nominee and 14 others for allegedly violating the model code
of conduct here, police said today.
Ketki Singh, BJP candidate from Bansdih constituency, and
14 others were yesterday charged with violating prohibitory
orders for barging into a police station to get one person
freed, police said.
Singh and the others were also charged with creating
hurdles in discharge of official duty and influencing voters,
they said.
